National Preparedness Month (NPM) is recognized each September to promote family, community and business disaster planning now and throughout the year. This year’s theme is “A Lasting Legacy: The life you’ve built is worth protecting. Prepare for disasters to create a lasting legacy for you and your family.” As our nation continues to respond to COVID-19, hurricanes and wildfires, there is no better time to be involved this September.
