Keep Employees Safe As Temperatures Drop

New season, new problems. Winter has arrived and with the possibility of snow on the horizon it’s smart for employers to refresh their employees on safety rules. Work hazards are common all year long and winter is no exception. Make sure you and your employees stay safe by following Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s (OSHA) safe practices:

  • Train all workers
  • Prevent cold stress by checking on your employees especially the new ones
  • Dress appropriately
  • Provide engineering controls or implement safe work practices
  • Never use portable generators indoors
