Matt Blake and Felicia Haigh attended the 24th Annual Workers’ Compensation Educational Conference held in Raleigh, NC earlier this month. The conference was presented by the North Carolina Industrial Commission, in association with the International Workers’ Compensation Foundation.
The program provided valuable information of particular importance for employers, insurance adjusters, self-insurers, third-party administrators, safety and human resource managers, plaintiff and defense attorneys, health care providers, mediators, medical and rehabilitation providers, and anyone with a professional interest in the North Carolina workers’ compensation system. Conference officials also discussed progressing technological efforts regarding submission of I.C. forms through Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) and the Commission’s forthcoming case management system, which is set to debut later in 2020. We’re excited to share these updates with our clients!
