Todd Jones, partner at Anderson Jones, PLLC, a full-service law firm serving North Carolina, South Carolina and Washington, D.C., has announced that attorney Caroline Lindsey Trautman was recognized as a 2014 Rising Star attorney by Super Lawyers magazine. This is the second consecutive year that Trautman has received this honor. The annual Rising Star list recognizes the best attorneys from each participating state who are 40 years of age or younger, or have been practicing for 10 or fewer years. Trautman was selected from among only 2.5 percent of North Carolina’s attorneys who were listed as finalists.
Super Lawyers magazine is a rating service of outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. The selection process is multi-phased and includes independent research, peer nominations and peer evaluations.
Trautman has served as an attorney for Anderson Jones since 2009. Prior to joining the firm, she worked for the South Carolina Department of Corrections in Columbia, where she specialized in defending the state against inmate claims, employee grievances and discrimination claims. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and received her J.D. from the University of South Carolina School of Law. Caroline is licensed to practice in both North Carolina and South Carolina.
