Peyton D. Mansure joins the firm after several years of practice in the Greensboro, N.C. area, where he gained extensive civil litigation experience primarily in the areas of commercial and construction litigation. In addition to representing members of the construction industry, Peyton also advocates for a wide-range of clients, including various types of property owners, businesses, creditors, and homeowners’ associations in matters involving property disputes, collections, insurance defense, foreclosures, and zoning. Peyton serves as counsel at all levels of trial courts in numerous counties across the State, federal district courts, the North Carolina Court of Appeals, and the North Carolina Supreme Court.

Prior to moving to North Carolina in 2006, Peyton worked in the construction industry, gaining experience in the areas of framing, roofing, and masonry in his hometown of St. Petersburg, Florida. Peyton then went on to earn his Bachelor of Science degree in economics from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, graduating summa cum laude, before earning his Juris Doctor from the Elon University School of Law, graduating cum laude. While in law school, Peyton served as the Articles Editor of the Elon Law Review, was a competing member of Elon’s mock trial team, and was selected as a Dean’s Fellow.

Outside of the office, Peyton enjoys playing baseball, golfing, traveling, and trying his hand at various DIY construction and renovation projects.
