Originally from the Piedmont region of Virginia, Alicia graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2001 from Appalachian State University with a Bachelor of Science in Communication, Public Relations, and a minor in Business. While at Appalachian State University she was very active in many leadership roles in the community and on campus.
Alicia joined Andy Anderson and Todd Jones to form Anderson Jones, PLLC in 2003. Prior to starting Anderson Jones, PLLC, Alicia worked as a Paralegal in two mid-sized law firms as well as serving as an activities director for a resort in Corolla, North Carolina.
Today Alicia is the Office Administrator and Controller for Anderson Jones, PLLC where she manages all business aspects of the firm, including financial matters. She is also a Certified North Carolina Paralegal and enjoys working with and assisting all of the staff on any legal matters. Although Alicia focuses on construction and general litigation, she has experience working with all types of the law, legal pleadings and research.
Alicia is a member of the North Carolina Bar Association, including the Construction Law Section, Legal Assistants Division and the Law Practice Management Section. She serves as the Legal Assistants Division's liaison to the Construction Law Section Council. She is a member of the North Carolina Association of Women Attorneys and various trade associations that support and advocate for the construction industry. She is currently the Secretary and Treasurer for the Triangle Chapter of the American Subcontractors Association of the Carolinas. Alicia is an active volunteer in the Junior League of Raleigh and a member of Crossroads Fellowship, where she feels blessed to be a leader in the AWANA Kids Program and participate in the WOW Studies program.
Alicia enjoys spending time with her husband and their very spoiled beagle named Maddi!
